In our sustainable business strategy, LC Packaging has identified four areas of commitment. We believe that by integrating these areas into our daily business, we will improve our environmental, economic and social impact, while making profit along the way.

Areas of commitment

The road to sustainability is never-ending, as there is always room for improvement. 

With this second issue of our annual digital Sustainability Update, I am proud to share exciting initiatives and developments deployed at LC Packaging to improve the well-being of people and environment around the world and to achieve our goals as stated in the LC Packaging Sustainability Vision 2022.

89% of our people say they are proud to work for LC Packaging and I am convinced our sustainable initiatives contribute to this feeling. Definitely worth mentioning are the important steps we have taken in the past year to minimise and recuperate the waste associated with our packaging.

We recycle up to 80% of our production waste, and with the help of our partners throughout the chain, such as Veolia – our new global partner in circular solutions – we have started an exciting pilot project with the aim to launch a circular packaging programme for our customers on a global scale.
