LC Supports Foundation compilation

In January 2017, LC Packaging founded the LC Supports Foundation to contribute to the improvement of the environment and well-being of communities in which our company operates, and contribute to the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN. With the help of local partners, we have set up wonderful projects.

After last year’s success, LC Packaging once again launched the so-called Green Heart Campaign during the 2019/2020 Holidays. LC Packaging donated an amount of money, usually spent on Christmas presents, to the project of the customer’s choice. Over 120 customers from different countries participated, raising a total of approximately €3,000.

Locally, our colleagues got involved too. In South Africa, the LC team cooked meals for underprivileged children and adults for Christmas, and in both the UK and Hungary, colleagues collected and created care packages for families in need. We were also proud to supply Wrap Up London with WPP bags for their annual coat collection for the homeless and less fortunate. Recently, our International Team cycled for three hours without stopping to raise money for the children’s hospital. In total, 140 teams raised over €640,000 to support children with a chronic illness.

To bring further attention to the projects supported by the LC Supports Foundation, two project managers have been appointed to involve and engage our internal and external stakeholders.
